This week was Fun Day at school.  Another in the series of “Alistair’s last and Larson’s first” events this year.

Each grade gets a color-coded shirt, as does the staff and the volunteers.  It’s quite a spectacle to see the whole school so well coordinated.

It was a first for Alistair too, in the sense that it was the first time it was a complete rainout. They had to cancel the outdoor activities altogether, and scramble to come up with a half-day’s worth of indoor activities.

In the end, it was great – the library turned into a giant rec room, with puzzles, lego’s, tangrams, and an art station.

Each class rotated through during the course of the day, and also watched a movie (each class voted on their own), and also alternated between a zumba class and a motivational speaker/theater workshop.

Weather notwithstanding, a good time was had by all.
