The kindergarten classes have spent the last few weeks working on a construction project.

Each class discussed things that would make our town better.

Some classes opted to redesign the entire town from scratch – adding things like a waterpark, a zipline across the river, and a petting zoo (among others) – another decided that it already has all the right things, they just need to be relocated, and so on.

Larson’s class thought that all that’s really missing is a single building – the Everything Factory and Museum.

On the inside there’s a candy factory, a cookie factory, a playground equipment factory, and a few other things.

He was very impressed with himself, as was I.

Also yesterday was May 4th. That is to say, May the Fourth. Also known as Star Wars day.  (As in, ‘may the fourth be with you).

My office does a weekly snacktime, sort of a social hour for the staff. This week’s theme was Star Wars, naturally. I work with some clever people.
