I made frose’ for the first time this weekend.  It’s a concoction that seems to have gone viral earlier this summer, but I just heard about it a week or so ago.  It’s essentially a slush made out of rose’ wine.  I was a little skeptical, but it was DELICIOUS.  I used the recipe from Bon Appetit, but since I was making it to bring to a cookout, I doubled everything.  Minimal effort, although it does require a little bit of advance planning since you have to freeze everything.  It’s totally worth it.

Then on Sunday Larry and I went to the Red Sox game.  It was a glorious evening, made all the better by finding out we had really good seats!

Given that this is David Ortiz’ final season, we were thrilled to see him hit a home run.  Probably the last one we’ll ever see in person, and it was hit out of the furthest part of the ballpark (420′ feet), so it was extra exciting.
