After roughly six weeks, I have a finished project to show you.

I started it during our trip to Washington back in March, and although for a change it was my only knitting project, it still took a while.  Most of it was not particularly complicated knitting, it’s simply a matter of volume.  And time.  Once I got to the edging it was so pretty and so different from the previous miles of stitches, I was zipping through it like crazy.

I bound off on Saturday, and spent a happy hour on Mother’s Day blocking it out.

It was dry by Monday morning, so after work I was able to talk Larry into taking the ‘after’ photos on the back porch.

I love everything about it.  So happy with this one.
