Yesterday was finally the last day of the school year in our town.

Alistair still had homework until last Thursday; they even had a clipper-ship project due last Wednesday.  The challenge was to build a ship using stuff around the house that would be able to hold stacks of pennies without sinking.

If you look closely you’ll see that the ship is called the SS Nintendo. It held 100 pennies before it sank.

Today being the first day of summer vacation, and also stay-home Tuesday for me, we returned to our traditional craft Tuesday ways.
