Lovely warm Easter Sunday:

Followed by an absolutely perfectly uneventful Marathon Monday.  38,000 runners and a million spectators strong, the only stories were of the uplifting, inspiring, human interest variety.

Like the Hoyts, who have inspired all of New England for most of my life and who thought last year would be their last race but decided the 37th time was the charm.

And these people, whose names are unknown but whose deed has gone viral for all the right reasons.

I couldn’t be prouder of my city and my people.  Boston Strong notwithstanding, I cried about 97 times yesterday, for all the right reasons.

Even the weather cooperated – it was about 60 and sunny with a nice breeze.  I managed to run a couple of miles around the Cambridge/Watertown side of the Charles after work.
