Slowly but unstoppably, spring is coming.

Our little pear tree sapling is blooming for the first time…I wonder how many years before it will produce fruit?  I have no clue.

Our dwarf peach tree looks the best it ever has.  Unfortunately since we had a little termite episode and a visit by the exterminator, the fruits will no longer be fit for human consumption.  This is not quite as horrible as it seems – we’ve never eaten a single peach from this tree; they seem always to ripen while we’re on vacation and the birds have gotten them all by the time we return.

Sure is pretty though, isn’t it?  There’s nothing really wrong with a nice ornamental tree in the backyard…

My little monkeys are growing, too.  Larson is on this kick of making a crazy face whenever someone points a camera(phone) at him…Alistair loves to ham it up, though.
