March 18, 2011

Yesterday was sunny and in the low 60’s here.  Alistair calls it Sir Patrick’s Day, Suffolk County calls it Evacuation Day (to mark the British leaving the city of Boston – their schools get the day off) – whatever you call it, whether it’s a holiday for you or not, I hope you enjoyed your day.

Nothing monumental going on around here this week.  I’m still working on a project for Alistair’s upcoming birthday, but I’m not quite ready to share it just yet, maybe next week, or maybe I’ll wait until it’s done.  It’s something of a new direction for me, and I’m pretty excited about it.

Other than that, it’s business as usual around here.  Took the cat to the vet for her annual checkup (and they gave her the three-year shots this time, so I don’t have to put her through that ordeal until 2014) on Wednesday, and based on our reckonings last year, today is her birthday.  So happy birthday Miss Evie; you shall have a special treat at dinnertime.
