The wrap is growing ever-so-slowly, mostly because I haven’t really been working on it.

I’ve just about come to accept the fact that it won’t be finished before we leave for vacation.  And am now trying to decide whether to put it aside to knock out the last two Christmas hats, or continue plugging away.

Both of the hats are going to be made with sock-weight yarn held double, which means that they’ll have to be wound off before I can start.

So the decision isn’t as easy as it seems.

In other news, tomorrow is the annual company outing; the Peep is sleeping over at my mother-in-law’s tonight to accommodate my extra-early start tomorrow.

Which means that Larry and I have a bonus weeknight date-night on our hands.  I can’t tell you the last time that’s happened – probably last year at about this time, ha.

Not that we have any big plans.  We’ll probably go out to dinner, then hit the couch.  Still, it’s a luxury to not have to wrestle the boy into bed, and it’s a whole host of duties off of the morning plate.  Any break is a great break.  And a much-needed and much-appreciated one.
