We did go apple picking yesterday – what a beautiful day to be outdoors!  It was sunny and probably 75.

Of course our camera crapped out moments after we arrived, so we were limited to using our cellphone cameras.  Which was better than nothing.

We did order another (smaller) fridge on Saturday, to be delivered next week.

I also got to within a yard or two of finishing the Christmas scarf, when I took a moment to measure the length.  Not quite 36 inches = D’oh!  I ripped it all the way out, and re-started with one less repeat.  I passed the halfway mark of the yarn last night (the spit-splice), and measured 26″ there.  So I feel like the finished object will be at least 48″, which is a respectable length.  Whew.

Between the measuring and the ripping, I needed a little breather.  So I started the first of the Christmas ornaments:

One down, seven to go.
