Had a wonderful Christmas weekend, and I hope you did too.

Since school got out at noon, I took Friday the 23rd off and spent the day home with the boys.  I managed to finish knitting Larson’s hat in the early afternoon.

(Alistair thinks that Larry should have one in blue.  Larry isn’t quite sold on the idea…)

After supper on Friday we piled into the car and took the boys to the zoo.

Not as crazy as it sounds!  From November through January 1 they open in the evenings and call it ZooLights; they have all manner of Christmas lights up, you can get your picture taken with Santa, and even pet a reindeer if you’re so inclined.

We were not inclined; they stank from literally yards away.

But the lights were pretty.
